The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) moved several security threat assessment programs to a new enrollment provider as part of its Universal Enrollment Services (UES) initiative. UES offers convenient online and in-person enrollment, including at our office in Effingham, IL.
Enrollment includes capturing biometric data (photos and fingerprints), biographic information and the identity documents required for certain TSA security threat assessment programs. UES also provides payment, credential and customer support services. The Universal Enrollment Services website offers secure online enrollment for the TSA.
TSA enrollment is different from our Illinois fingerprinting.
- TSA PreCheck®, TWIC and HAZMAT enrollment is available only at our Effingham office (302 E. Jefferson Ave.). Our other 40+ fingerprint locations cannot process TSA enrollments.
- Don't use the BBS fingerprint scheduler for TSA services. Book through the TSA enrollment website, or simply walk in.
- TSA fees, payment and required documents are set by the TSA and are different from Illinois fingerprinting fees.
